Video: Good Fish, Bad Fish
When eating fish, Dr. Weil recommends staying away from large fish that are at the top of the food chain because of their tendency to have elevated levels of mercury. He also recommends avoiding farmed fish as they have lower levels of omega-3s and are often fed antibiotics to decrease their risk of illness. The fish with the best sources of omega-3s are wild-caught salmon, sardines, herring, and black cod.
